The SBW Berlin Scholarship is an international student scholarship that comes with full funding. This grant is available for graduate and undergraduate work. In addition to many other privileges, the scholarship gives a 100% tuition price remission, a monthly stipend, lodging and travel reimbursement.

The SBW Berlin Scholarship provides financial support to international students from low-income families, who then use the knowledge and skills they gain during their studies in Germany to advance long-term non-profit projects, ideally back home.

We give out scholarships for both bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Berlin and Potsdam based on the academic standing, character traits, and social requirements of the applicants. Generally speaking, funding is available for all artistic and scientific fields. In some situations, we can also help with vocational training in Potsdam or Berlin. Research conducted in other German federal states or in your home country is not eligible for funding.

Qualifications:

In order to be eligible for the SBW Berlin Scholarship, the applicant needs to meet each of the requirements listed below:

1. English is the language that is required.
2. All nations across the world are eligible.
3. Maximum Age: 18 to 30 years old
4. Before beginning their university studies, applicants must be enrolled full time in the first, second, or maximum third semester at a state-recognized institution (in Germany or abroad), or they must apply for a Master’s degree soon after earning a Bachelor’s degree. A German grade point average of at least 2.0 is correlated with ordinary grades. candidates who may demonstrate a comparatively low net income. The applicants’ total family income is less than the officially declared average income for their nation of origin. All household members’ incomes as well as the family’s total income from all sources—such as jobs, businesses, real estate, child benefits, or pensions—will be considered.
5. Activities Outside of the Classroom Experience: Candidates with prior work or volunteer experience in a nonprofit organization.

Study of Scholarships:

The following perks are awarded to the recipient of the SBW Berlin Scholarship:

1. A room in our Berlin shared student apartments
2. provision for cost of living in the level determined under section IX.
3. Fees for instruction
4. perhaps additional travel reimbursement for your trip to Berlin prior to the commencement of your courses and for your return trip home thereafter

Last Day:

The deadline to apply for the German SBW Berlin Scholarship for 2024-25 is June 30 or December 31 of each year.
