Scholarships from Charles Darwin University come in the following categories:

Scholarships for International High Achievers offered by the Vice-Chancellor:

A scholarship covers 50% or 25% of the tuition cost for the whole course of an undergraduate or graduate program of study.

Global Excellence Award:

The scholarships cover 10% of the tuition in subsequent years and 50% of the tuition in the first year of study for undergraduate or graduate coursework degrees.

Global Leader Award:

The scholarships cover 10% of the tuition in following years and 25% of the tuition for undergraduate or graduate coursework degrees in the first year of study.

Global Achiever Award:

The scholarship pays for 15% of the first year’s tuition for students pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree.

 The scholarship is a one-time payment of $3,000 toward your first year’s tuition and is applicable to a Vocational Education and Training  qualification.

Eligibility for Scholarships:

Applying for a scholarship from Charles Darwin University is possible if you:

1. Language Requirement: English
2. All nations across the world are eligible.

Requirements of the scholars;

1. Continue to enroll full-time, earning 40 credit points per semester;
2. Your tuition fee scholarship will be directly deposited to your student account up to two weeks after each semester’s census date if you pay the remaining balance of your tuition by the start of each semester.
3. Maintain a minimum GPA of 5.3 and no failing grades in any subjects while pursuing your degree at CDU, and make satisfactory academic progress each semester;
4. The scholarship cannot be transferred to another student, course, or year, nor is it refundable or transferable for cash.
5. Recipients must pay foreign fees rather than local ones.
6. not leave or withdraw from the units or course of study without getting the Office of International Services’ prior clearance;
7. Recipients are required to follow the University of the Student rules and regulations.
8. Any changes in the visa status must be promptly reported to the International Office by email at international@cdu.edu.au by awardees, or else the scholarship may be terminated.
